Birdsong Guesthouse & Cottages is within easy driving distance from Johannesburg and Polokwane (Pietersburg) and 14 km outside Modimolle (Nylstroom).   Situated on a 32 ha game farm.  Birdsong has some of the most tranquil nature scenes in the Waterberg region,   it is ideally located for people seeking the better things in life!   It  is the ideal venue for your romantic getaway, small functions, conferences or parties.

A luxury villa with 3 private bedrooms and en suite bathrooms. A flatscreen TV with a variety of DSTV channels in each bedroom furnished with antique furniture and queen size beds covered in white linen. The Dining room and lounge area can accommodate 12 guests.  

Self-catering cottages

Guinea fowl  offers one king size bed and two single beds. One bathroom with a bath, basin and toilet. A fully equipped kitchen consisting of a kettle, microwave, toaster, fridge freezer combination, a four plate gas stove with oven and a range of cutlery and crockery.

Franklyn

Has one king size bed and two single beds. One bathroom with a bath, basin and toilet. A fully equipped kitchen consisting of a kettle, microwave, toaster, fridge freezer combination, a four plate gas stove with oven and a range of cutlery and crockery.

King Fisher

 has 3 king size and two single beds.  Two bathrooms with a bath, basin and toilet and shower and toilet combination. A fully equipped kitchen consisting of a kettle, microwave, toaster, fridge freezer combination, a four plate gas stove with oven.

Sunbird

Has 2 double beds and a variety of DSTV channels. One bathroom with a bath, shower, basin and toilet. A fully equipped kitchen consisting of a kettle, microwave, toaster, fridge freezer combination, a two plate stove and a range of cutlery and crockery.

Conferences - Birdsong is ideal for intimate functions, conferences and parties. The beautiful chapel is transformed into the conference venue with seating for up to 60 people. There is ample parking for all your delegates. With a view of the valley below and the prolific birdlife creating the atmosphere, every conference or event here is transformed into a successful occasion. Team building can be organized with an array of events including Potjie Kos competitions, theme events and much more. For more intimate groups, our guest-house also offers a 12-seater dining area, that can also be transformed into a private boardroom.

Weddings - The romantic old style chapel seats up to 60 guests. Let us roll out the red carpet for you on your special day. Situated at the “Uitkyk”, with ample parking for all your guests, the Chapel is the perfect venue for your cherished occasion.
